Our Service Delivery group plays a pivotal role in keeping the water flowing to our customers taps, every day, and the team have an exciting opportunity for a
Strategic Project Officer to join them to help support and continue shaping the future of Urban Utilities and the vital work we do.


Your opportunity:


As the Strategic Project Officer, you will play a vital role in assisting the General Managers and Executive leader in advancing strategic initiatives.

Your responsibilities will involve developing comprehensive project plans that encompass all necessary activities to achieve project objectives, aligned with Urban Utilities' project management framework.

This role will see you plan & coordinate these initiatives and keep them moving in a forward direction. You will assist in stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings and supporting materials to promote stakeholder understanding and commitment.


What we hope you'll bring:


  • Demonstrated experience contributing to group or organisation level projects and initiatives to deliver enterprise outcomes
  • 1+ years' experience in Utilities operations, strategy, or customer service.
Ultimately, you will be someone who is motivated, enjoys "big picture" conversations and is happy to be hands on

This is a
6month max-term opportunity, reporting into the Executive Leader Service Delivery.
