Team Lead Civil Design - Ryde, Australia - Randstad

Description

Using your extensive knowledge and experience with your leadership skills, you will lead a team of 6 to deliver 3 Council plans alongside your department's business plan, where results will benefit the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the delivery and development of designs
• Review designs, documentation and costings throughout all phases of design development across multiple projects covering roads, stormwater, footpath, traffic facilities, cycleways and more
• Coordinate and monitor projects, programs and portfolios
• Provide Leadership, mentorship and support

The ideal candidate:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering recognized by Engineers Australia
• Experience leading, managing and mentoring a civil based design team
• Experience in technical designs for road and drainage, footpaths and cycleways, traffic facilities and flood modeling
• Expert in CAD, Civil3D, Drains and excellence in flood modeling and road pavement design software
• Excellent knowledge of legislation, regulations, design standards and code of practice in construction
