About the role


Join our closeknit communications and marketing team and work with us to develop strategies and concepts which will make a difference in the important area of healthcare.


Family Planning Australia (FPA) is a dynamic organisation which regularly advocates for patient rights, equality of access to healthcare and other matters crucial to reproductive and sexual health.

The CO may support this strategic work and will liaise regularly with the executive and senior staff.

Skills and Experiences:

Selection Criteria
Essential

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (media, marketing, communications, journalism, arts)
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skillls
  • Demonstrated experience in social media planning and execution
  • An understanding of media relations, media strategies, and the development of media releases and key messages documents
  • An understanding of marketing and communications strategies
  • An ability to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • High level interpersonal skills including proven negotiation, persuasion and collaboration skills suitable for working with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Must have full permanent working rights in Australia
Desirable

  • Basic graphic deign skills.
Other requirements

  • A Criminal Record Check and Working With Children Check are required prior to commencement in this role
