An exciting opportunity for an experienced men's counsellor to be part of something rewarding. Enriching the lives of Indigenous 'men and families to assist in providing abuse and neglect free families and environments.

About The Employer:

A Central Aboriginal Health Service providing a range of health services and support program to the community.

Including men's health, women and children's health, chronic disease, AOD, dental, mental health, smoking cessation, sexual health, men's counselling, and client support care programs for Indigenous, Women, Families, Children, Youth, Men, the Vulnerable & Disadvantaged.

Position Specifics:

Responsible for the provision and delivery of high quality, culturally sensitive men's counselling and effective care coordination for male victims of Family and Domestic Violence.

Your Background May Incl:

Offering a solid demonstrated understanding in the areas of Child

Protection, Domestic & Family Violence.

Displaying a cultural appreciation/understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

Genuinely wanting to make a difference to the lives of Indigenous men. f

Essential Requirements
Tertiary Qualified

Current open driver's license

Holder of a Working with Children Blue Card, or the ability to obtain one.

Willingness to undertake a National Police Clearance check.
