About the role

The primary function of this role is to receive, pack, inspect and dispatch machinery spare parts and other goods in a store's environment.

This role also requires periodic on site relief work on major projects including equipment distribution during shutdown activities.

The role will also require a high level of organisation and tidiness throughout the main dispatch/receiving area, stores, spare parts, and rear yard areas of the warehouse.

This role also requires travel to various locations during shutdowns.

The Material Coordinator will also be required to provide assistance to Trades and Sales team when required.


Key Responsibilities

• Receive/dispatch equipment and materials.
• Track and issue equipment to onsite personnel.
• Control and manage the issue and return of equipment on site.
• Record deliveries and process goods received information.
• Label and maintain part numbers on stock.
• Maintain a clean and organised stores area and spare parts area.
• Organise diesel welders & generators in rear yard area.
• Book and track incoming and outgoing freight.
• Safely pack and wrap shipments.
• Operate forklift
• Perform return from hire inspections and report on damage and missing equipment.
• Assist in stocktaking.
• Assist trades with forklift related duties.
• Deliveries and pickups.
• Arrange and optimise the stores layout.

Skills/Knowledge/Behaviours

• Welding equipment or industrial tooling product knowledge preferred.
• Construction and shutdown site experience in the mining, power or process plant industries highly regarded.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift license required.
• Be a team player, committed to work in a team based environment.
• Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude.
• Certificate 3 in warehousing highly regarded, however we are willing to train the right person with stores experience for the role.

Salary:
$70, $90,000.00 per year
