Description

The core of this role is to support on-site employees with disabilities in a production environment.

Our clients' foundation operates over 30 commercial operations across the Eastern seaboard covering a range of products mix including packaging, document destruction, recycling and manufacturing to commercial customers and has opportunities at their Oakleigh site.

Balancing a person-centred approach that involves empathy & patience along with meeting commercial outcomes of the business, you will be supervising and motivating employees and assisting them to mee their individual capabilities, in alignment with their NDIS plans.

You will ideally have

A background in manufacturing/production or retail environment
Experience supervising a small team
Moderate computer and MS office skills
Knowledge of disability services or experience with people with disabilities
Strong communication skills to ensure information is accurately communicated to the team
Forklift Licence and experience
High level of empathy, patience & understanding
