My client, a leading Australian financial institution, seeks a Treasury Risk Reporting Analyst to join their team in the Brisbane CBD.
This role, sitting within the finance team, will be responsible for the following:- Preparation of treasury position reports to ensure positions remain within the agreed risk appetite.
- Prepare various trend reports.
- Investigate breaches and escalate as needed.
- Compile specific reports for the Asset and Liability Committee as well as the board.
- Provide training and supervision to junior team members.
- Contribute towards formal submissions with clearly articulated recommendations to the Asset and Liability Committee.
Who we're looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in a treasury, financial or regulatory reporting experience within a bank or other ADI.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (professional accounting qualification highly regarded)
- Experience in the identification and measurement of financial risk exposures.
- Familiarity with treasury risk systems (eg Visual Risk/GTreasury).
- Understanding of financial products and treasury instruments.
- Excellent spreadsheeting skills, including the ability to use macros/vba.
Salary:
$100, $120,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
