A global leader with over a century of logístical experience and locations all over the world. A tier one industry leader in transport, logistics and freight company.


The role:


As the Operations Manager, you will join a growing facility in Western Sydney close to the M4, focusing on the end-to-end operations, with a safety-first approach.

Driving continuous improvement, brilliant customer service and bringing forth a congenial, collaborative, and encouraging environment.


Your responsibilities:


  • Firstly, a safety culture, leading by example.
  • Building and developing and tomorrow's leader's approach
  • Ensuring a culture of trust across all internal stakeholders, to promote a successful working environment.
  • Ensuring strong partnering with internal stakeholders from inventory to customer service.
  • A continuous improvement approach for the endtoend operations and team success
  • Actively performance manage poor performers as per company disciplinary procedures
  • Act as a role model; providing guidance or information on known topics voluntarily and on request.
  • Encourage ideas/innovation for improvement of team's performance amongst direct reports.
  • Assisting in the forecasting and budgeting, monitoring Loss Prevention and analysing performance across budgets
  • Effectively leading KPI's in line with SLA
  • Maintaining effective relationships with external clients

About you:


  • A minimum of 6+ years' experience in a 3PL environment
  • Advanced understanding of complex warehouse systems
  • Advanced WMS experience
  • Advanced TMS experienced
  • Proven outstanding customer service and communication skills across internal and external partners
  • Proven continuous improvement and problemsolving skills
