About the role

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in a role that embodies our core values? We have an exciting opportunity for a collaborative, respectful and reliable individual to join us as the Head of Project Delivery - Sustaining Capital.

As a vital member of our Project Delivery Team's senior leaders' team, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering capital projects that align with our Network Plan and 2033 strategic objectives.

Our Project Delivery Group is a collective force, combining expertise in construction, commercial, engineering, project management, studies, and rail.

With this wealth of knowledge, we create and deliver projects that optimise safety, efficiency, effectiveness, and capacity for CBH's supply chain infrastructure.

Together, we act as a cohesive unit, driving the success of our supply chain and sustaining value for West Australian grain growers.

You will be working on multiple projects across the PDG Portfolio including Expansion, Enhancement, Rail Outloading and Infrastructure requiring design, technical support and governance.

You will also service Operations and Maintenance Teams through Engineering Work Requests.

We offer a comprehensive range of services, spanning engineering, design, and technical support for CBH infrastructure and equipment. Join our trusted team and contribute to the enhancement of our operations, maximising productivity along the way.

Working closely with Project Delivery and Operations Groups, your key accountabilities include:

Overseeing the study and delivery of the Sustaining Capital portfolio of brownfields infrastructure projects.
Leading a team of project management practitioners to ensure successful project execution by leveraging external expertise.
Building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders across CBH Operations and the wider business.
Collaborating with customers and stakeholders for mutual long-term benefit and creating value for WA Growers.
Championing solutions to enhance local content spend on capital projects.
Engaging with our executive leadership team and Board of Directors through effective presentations and clear status reports.
Nurturing a culture of continuous improvement and seeking innovative alternatives that add value.
Ensuring successful project tendering, contract administration, and adherence to the Project Governance Framework.
Managing the annual sustaining capital portfolio budget and identifying opportunities for cost improvements.
Overseeing the monthly reporting cycle, risk identification, and implementation of mitigation measures.
Preparing comprehensive reports, including investment business cases, for executive and board review.
Developing project business cases, including risk profiles, cost estimates, budgets, and schedules.
