Privileged Access Security team is a new team within the CISO branch consisting of highly experienced professionals.

Our key objective under the Cyber Uplift program is to onboard, manage and secure all privileged accounts while working alongside a large and diverse IT department.

As the team transitions to a new Privileges Access Management platform, we are focused on building a solid integration and automation of continuous on-boarding of privileged accounts and building an operational support model to ensure that all access is monitored, controlled, and audited.


About the role


The Manager, Privileged Access Security oversees a solution specialist team that implements, configures, and supports software controls for IT Administrative or privileged functions.


Essential requirements of the role

  • Industry certification in relevant technologies or equivalent industry experience.
  • A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education

Key knowledge and experience

  • Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
  • Substantial experience in managing the configuration and implementation of software solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a team of software solutions engineers.
