Principle Media Group - Data & Analytics Manager (Full Time)
Data in marketing and advertising communications is changing rapidly, as is the technology used to leverage it.

As the media industry and our clients prepare for a cookie-less, 1st party led world, we need to design and implement changing analytical solutions to ensure effective media investment and optimisation.


In this exciting full-time role, you would be working with a wide variety of client teams, media, and external partners to deliver data & analytics projects and insights across a range of clients and industries.

This is a rare opportunity for you to assist in further building the PMG data & analytics offering and play a key role in shaping the future of the PMG product offering.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Data Collection and Interpretation:


  • Collect, clean, and interpret data from multiple sources.
  • Work with users to formulate and document business requirements.

Data Infrastructure and Processes:


  • Devise and implement best practice data infrastructures and processes to collect and ingest the required data for Media Optimisations, Data Visualisation, Reporting and Business Intelligence
  • Identify and evaluate inefficiencies and recommend optimal business practices, system functionality, and behaviour.

Data Modelling and Analysis:


  • Build, develop, and maintain data models.
  • Use data modelling, predictive modelling, and analytical techniques to interpret key findings from data.

Reporting and Insights:


  • Build, develop, and maintain reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Design and deliver reports and insights that analyse media, business, and key operations metrics.
  • Build insights and dashboards to inform business decisions.

Business Process Analysis:


  • Identify, investigate, and analyse business processes, procedures, and work practices.
  • Using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications.

Project Management:


  • Use project management methodologies, principles, and techniques to develop project plans.
  • Ensure effective delivery of all projects to completion, delivering clear insights and value to clients.

Client Support:


  • Assist in the management of client onboarding with appropriate data and analytics setup.
  • Act as a central reference and information source, providing guidance in the system project decisionmaking process.

Strategy and Decision Support:


  • Utilise data to provide insights for better media decisions and client business strategies.
  • Support new business pitches with datadriven insights and strategy.

Training and Documentation:


  • Create user and training documentation.
  • Conduct formal training classes.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Further develop great data analytics and interpretation into the strategic product and practice at PMG.

ABOUT YOU

  • Others describe you as smart, curious, and highly analytical.
  • You have experience in building out quality industry and category level insights that can support strategy creation through to optimisation and achieving better results.
  • You have strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • You have a strong understanding of web and app data architectures, from collection and tracking (i.e. data structure and management), to cloud data warehouses to BI tools.
  • You have exceptional communication skills.

Salary:
$98, $120,000.00 per year


Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Cremorne, VIC 3121 (preferred)
