KONE has an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Learning & Development Business Partner to join our team in Mascot, Sydney.

You will participate in the design, development and implementation of training for current & future business needs.

Engage and motivate KONE employees and develop KONE as a great place to work with training and development being a key driver to continue to drive KONE as the dominant force in the industry.


  • What will you be doing?_
  • Create an early careers road map & strategy for our apprentice electricians and future talent pipeline across Australia and New Zealand
  • Guide and mentor apprentices to enable them to successfully complete their apprenticeship
  • Participate in the design and successful delivery of all related training & processes for current and future business needs locally and globally
  • Collaborate with our partners to manage government and partner incentives
  • Monitor business and Industry environment and seek information on workforce trends on an ongoing basis to discuss further recommendations
  • Creation of clear reports and administration of the entire programme
  • Maintain key relationships with internal/ external stakeholders
  • Are you the one?_
  • Experienced in creating and delivering apprentice electrician ongoing campaigns across Australian New Zealand
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment desirable
  • You will have strong project management skills to oversee program planning, execution, and evaluation
  • Previous experience in running apprentice / early careers programmes required
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar type of role
  • Experienced in being able to design and manage training that comply with legislative and industry requirements
  • Proven experience in maintaining a yearly training budget desirable
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word, PowerPoint
  • Proven success in designing and delivering training & facilitating workshops
  • Previous history in running events such as expos, inductions or trade stands
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders across all levels
  • Proactive approach
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Experienced in reporting and must have an analytical mindset
