Oversee ServiceNow CMDB Tech Confguration & Change
Initial 36 Month Engagement / Melbourne Eastern Suburbs

This essential public sector agency

_delivers critical services to millions of Victorians_, and a host of community support agencies every year. They are currently undertaking a deep-dive review of their internal processes, procedures and tools and have identified the requirement for signficant practice and systems transformation / modernisation.

The organisation subsequently requires the skills of an experienced, confident

Change & Configuration Lead to manage cross-environment, technical configuration, design and rollout change management practices, formulate and deploy system customisations, and deliver knowledge transfer to the incumbent, in-house BAU services team.

You will

_act as a vital information conduit_ between project staff, various customer stakeholders (technical and non-technical), executive management and third-party vendor resources. You will therefore possess superior communication and interpersonal skills, along with a pragmatic approach, great energy and a cast-iron sense of humour.

The Change & Configuration Lead will ideally bring to the table:

Demonstrated expertise in configuration management within large, corporate environments
Understanding of technical change management for complex systems implementation or software upgrade initiatives
Strong expertise with ITSM tools and processes
Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform, particularly CMDB module
Industry certifications in ServiceNow, ITIL and/or project management highly regarded
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, an autonomous approach, and patented stakeholder management capability

Whilst the tenure is penciled in for 3-6 months, there is strong possibility of longer-term extension(s) depending upon the in-flight project scoping and requirements of the organisation.
