Role Responsibilities:


The purpose of this role is to support our Client Services leaders with their staffing needs by managing the centralised scheduling process.

This role involves working with the Scheduling Manager to supervise the team of Scheduling Officers, conduct process and data analysis to inform decisions and to optimise the operation of the scheduling service to ensure appropriate workforce planning and utilization.


The responsibilities of the position include:

  • Ensure the smooth running of the service by managing and monitoring different resources, including budget and expenses, to achieve the best outcomes for the clients and the organisation
  • Be an expert in all scheduling processes and gain a thorough understanding of the key aspects of endtoend processes of the scheduling system
  • Ensure the rosters in the system are accurate for all services to ensure adequate resource allocation and invoicing for services.
  • Conduct process and data analysis to inform decisions and to optimise the operation of the scheduling service
  • Act as a liaison amongst multiservice leadership to manage, monitor and coordinate for staffing, training, coverage of staffing and overtime hours.
  • Prepare and maintain all relevant administration records, systems, reports and general documentation up to date and in accordance with Unisson Disability's policies and procedures
  • Participate in oncall as required

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:


  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in rostering
  • A good understanding of the SCHADS Award
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise, coordinate and organise own work and work of team members in a timely manner
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills coupled with an ability to present and communicate complex technical information to a variety or audiences in a simple manner
  • Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
