Are you ready?
In this hands-on and diverse role, you will manage a specialist risk team to support Optus with achieving its strategic, operational, financial, and compliance objectives, where you will conduct a program of controls advisory across the business.
You will assist in the coordination of the controls advisory program, working closely with the business to scope specific engagements, and manage them through their lifecycle to provide insight on the design and operation of the controls that are in place across our key customer processes.
Your key ingredients for success...
- Tertiary qualifications in a Commerce, Economics, Finance, IT or Business field;
- Significant experience working within a highprofile Line 1 & 2 Risk or audit function establishing controls assurance;
- Proven people leadership experience and extensive customer management expertise at all levels of business;
- Deep understanding and experience in implementing risk and controls standards such as ISO31000, COBIT, ISO27001 and other industry frameworks and standards;
- Experience gained in largescale enterprise risk environments (e.g., Big 4 Consulting / Big 4 Banking / Financial Services / ASX Listed companies) with solid Line 1 experience;
- Proven track record in measuring and prioritising work queues or risk mitigation strategies according to value matrixes;
- Demonstrated experience in using risk tooling to undertake required reporting and governance activities;
- Strong understanding of enterprise risk management methodology, with realtime people management experience;
- Tightknit collaboration and influencing skills, client / people centricity, with ability to deal with all levels of an organisation; &
- Advanced MS Office, reporting, analytical and out of the box thinking, able to understand business products, processes and to translate that into the risk framework.
