About You

  • You will hold an ACECQA approved Diploma Qualification in Children's Services
  • An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and be a part of the team
  • Able to actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • First Aid in Early Childhood Setting including Asthma & Anaphylaxis
You will also need to
- be ready to have fun, dance, sing, dress up and read in your best outdoor voice
- understand that you may be involved on one to many pretend play meal times and need to have your best acting features on enjoying your 50th cup of tea
- be ready to receive unconditional love, cuddles and have little people laugh at your jokes, silly voices you use and quirky expressions you may make
- be able to multitask putting socks, shoes and sunhats on whilst receiving a cuddle or two from children
- have the ability to express yourself with art and craft and provide children with opportunities to create themselves
- be tidy and know how to declutter, take pride in your room presentation
- want to be part of team that truly loves working together


what you will do:


  • Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community
  • Developing and implementing a play based early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice
  • Document the children's learning and development
  • Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of our curriculum and centre policies and procedures


You will also share our commitment and passion for bringing learning to life, inspiring the children in our care to reach their full potential, and have lots of fun along the way.
