About the Role


Presbyterian Aged Care are looking for a permanent part time (25 hours per week with the possibility of flexible working arrangements) to support PAC quality objectives, directions, and initiatives by providing auditing, continuous improvement and data analysis for PAC Home Care services.

This role is co-located across North Ryde and Ashfield home care programs.


Responsibilities include:

Work closely with the Home Care team to embed quality across the programs.


Ensure the delivery of high quality of care has been delivered across all Home Care Programs, by ways of internal auding and continuous improvement.

Overseeing delivery of care that meets ACQSC and PAC standards and consumers needs in PAC Home Care services.

Prepare and undertake preparation of the self
- assessment for ACQSC accreditation.

Support the site during ACQSC visits or contacts and support sites during the audit process.


Work in collaboration with the Service Managers for responses to any ACQSC contacts or visits in partnership with the Service Managers.

Respond to any industry/legislative changes in care and ensure PAC response and implementation of any new standards and procedures.

Undertake audits as per PAC's internal auditing schedule.

Ensure continuous quality improvement is developed and monitored at all services including the PCI plans.

Support PAC's Clinical Nurse Educator in developing educational and training modules for the PAC education calendar.

Implement PAC's feedback procedure.

Correlation and preparation of reports for Clinical Governance including attending Clinical Governance meetings.

Oversight of complaints management.

Oversight of KPIs.

Provide support/guidance on mandatory reporting to the Service Manager/Case managers.

Provide support/guidance on incident management to the Service Manager/Case managers.

Input into reviewing and updating policies and procedures to align with best practice.

About You

You will be able to identify risk and identify where priorities lie. You will have a good understanding of root cause analysis and incident management.

You have a nursing registration with AHPRA.


You can work at a fast pace and collaborate with various teams and staff to deliver high quality care and services.


You have excellent interpersonal skills and are a team player who works within the philosophy and values of Presbyterian Aged Care.

You will have an NDIS worker check or be willing to get one.

There is also a possibility of increased hours working as the RN Clinical Support RN for Home Care for the right applicant.

This could bring the total working hours up to full time and the pay rate would be based on years of clinical experience and paid as per our Enterprise Agreement

Work between our Ashfield & North Ryde sites, with the option of some flexibility to work for part of the hours from home after probation period
