THE COMPANY:

This company are a global leader within the freight forwarding space.

They manage and provide both air, sea and rail freight solutions on behalf of some one the world's most recognisable brands.

This family-owned business has over 250 branches across almost 60 countries.


They are on the lookout for a standout Sea Import Coordinator to manage day to day Import operations for a portfolio of clients end to end.


THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Sea Freight Operations Manager this is a fast-paced position with a high level of client interaction across multiple communication streams

Duties will include;

  • Liaising with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal Import and 3PL distribution for the customer
  • Contributing to companywide process improvements
  • Ensure accurate database management through Expedient and ICS

ABOUT YOU:

You will have a customer focused attitude and enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

In addition;

  • Proven experience in a role within air or sea freight, import/export LCL/FCL or logistics/3PL
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and you are able to adjust your communication style to the stakeholder you are engaging with
  • A high level of attention to detail (made apparent in your resume)
  • Ability to work within a fast paced, pressured environment but contribute to a positive company culture
