The Dental Clinic at Griffith University is a state-of-the-art clinic that uses the latest technology and treatment techniques, with a dental team who are committed to providing the best oral health care possible.


The clinic will see approximately 350 patients per day and offers a wide range of treatments, allowing Dental Assistants exposure to all disciplines.

About the Opportunity

This position is an exciting opportunity to work directly with staff and students in a professional, fast-paced environment, within a supportive team guided by amazing leadership.


You will be responsible for the receiving and preparation of patients into the dental clinic and assisting staff and students in the full range of dental treatment and procedures.


You will also:

  • Work in the stateoftheart CSSD (Centre Sterilising Storage Department)
  • Undertake general cleaning of surfaces and equipment
  • Maintain awareness of new developments and new techniques

_ We have multiple full time, continuing positions during term time (39 weeks per year). The positions will be based at the Dental Clinic at our vibrant Gold Coast campus._

_ Shifts available Monday to Friday include:_

_ 12:00pm - 8:00pm_:

_ 2:30pm - 8:00pm_:

_ 2:30pm - 9:00pm_

Salary Range

The salary for HEW Level 3 is in the range $57,431 - $63,485 (pro rata) per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation.

The total package is in the range $67, $74,278 (pro rata).


Qualifications:


About You

  • A Certificate III in Dental Assisting
  • A current CPR / First Aid Certificate
  • The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Enthusiasm to improve their skills and continuingly learn
