The Role
Genus Industrial Services are seeking experienced SHEQ Advisors to assist with Project works on the NSJ Solar Farm.

2:1 FIFO roster. 12-month project.

Reporting directly to the SHEQ Manager, the

SHEQ Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Conducting audits & inspections.
  • Assisting in the development of risk assessments.
  • Assisting in the delivery of SHEQ improvement programs & communications.
  • Leading incident investigations.
  • Collecting, analysing, managing, and reporting on SHEQ data (MYOSH database).

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • 3+ years' experience in a SHEQ Advisory role in a similar environment (mining, Pilbara, materials handling).
  • Cert IV WHS/OHS or higher.
  • Construction Safety Induction (White Card).
  • Current WA Driver's License "C" Class.
  • Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
  • Competent in reporting.
  • ICAM investigation training.
  • Proficient in excel, word and online database systems such as MYOSH.
  • Good communication and public speaking skills.
  • Knowledge of WA WHS Legislation, Codes and Standards.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Ability to pass a preemployment medical, including a drug & alcohol screen.

Desirable Skills/Qualifications/Experience

  • Cert IV Training and Assessing.
  • Senior First Aid.
  • FMG inducted.
  • Drug & Alcohol testing qualifications.
  • Fire Extinguisher Training.
