    At the Department of the Premier and Cabinet (DPC), our primary responsibility is to provide support and guidance to the Premier and Cabinet to effectively deliver on the government's priorities, commitments, decisions, and objectives for the betterment of the community.

    Legal Services is responsible for the delivery of independent strategic legal advice and support to the Director-General and the department.

    Our team has a key role in ensuring that the department operates within robust and effective governance and integrity frameworks.


    Your opportunity:


    As a Principal Legal Officer you will work across Government, take a whole of government view and partner collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to assist in the delivery of the Government's objectives.

    You will operate as a trusted legal adviser, acting with professionalism, integrity and in line with the ethical principles fundamental to good public administration.


    About you:


    You will have proven success in delivering strong outcomes and advising on sensitive, complex and high level legal and public administration issues including drafting legal documents, submissions and contracts.
