The Client

The Client is an established global organisation providing sustainable and innovative capital equipment solutions to the mining and automotive industries.


The Role

The GM of Production is responsible for overseeing the overall production operations for the business, managing staff performance, and ensuring that the team performs with the highest productivity and efficiency.

The role oversees the planning and coordinating the assembly, modification, continued performance, and maintenance of company products and equipment in accordance with customer expectations and company standards.


Reporting to the Group GM, this role will suit an experienced Production Manager that is looking to make the move into an innovative high-growth company where they can champion and implement modern production and manufacturing processes.

Role responsibilities include:


  • Overseeing production to guarantee compliance with customer specifications, service levels and quality standards;
  • Exceeding set operational targets, monitoring expenditure and performance whilst identifying opportunities for improvement to process efficiency;
  • Quality control of manufacturing processes and technical support for production equipment and systems;
  • Ensuring all production activities meet legislative and regulatory requirements;
  • Managing budgets and cost reduction initiatives;
  • Investigating problems that arise during the manufacturing process and implementing preemptive solutions;
  • Providing continuous feedback, mentoring and guidance to production staff;
  • Weekly and monthly reporting to management.

About you

  • A desire to continually seek efficiency and quality improvements with production, design and manufacturing standards;
  • An ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly to changing technical/business priorities;
  • Highly organised and deadlinedriven;
  • Strong decisionmaking, negotiation and influencing skills.
