The Role
Canon is currently seeking a Financial Reporting (TM1) Project Manager for a 12-month contract role to lead our new Financial Reporting implementation along two key workstreams:

The rebuild of Canon Oceania's TM1 Budgeting and Reporting Solution (75%)
The implementation of the new financial reporting solution for reporting back to our parent company in Japan. (25%)

Scope of the role includes:

Partnering closely with the TM1 and Reporting Specialist, the Financial Systems team and current TM1 users, responsibility for completion of key deliverables as part of this TM1 rebuild project that will deliver the new TM1 Budgeting and Reporting solution including;
Documentation of users Financial Analysis and Reporting requirements to be met by the rebuilt TM1 Budgeting and Reporting solution
Obtaining a strong understanding of users' current analysis and reporting models within TM
Providing input to the TM1 Budgeting and Reporting solution design process
Performing initial testing of TM1 Budgeting and Reporting solution
Managing user testing (UAT) of TM1 Budgeting and Reporting solution
Participating in training of users in new version of TM1 Planning Analytics
Providing support to TM1 users as they rebuild Budget templates and Financial reports from TM
Partnering closely with the General Manager Group Planning & Audit, the Budgeting and Reporting Team, the TM1 and Reporting Specialist and the Financial Systems team, responsibility for completion of key deliverables of the Canon Inc Chart of Accounts Project which will deliver the new Canon Inc Reporting solution including;
Obtaining a strong understanding of Canon Inc's reporting requirements
Providing input to the Canon Inc Financial Reporting solution
Obtaining a clear understanding of the final the Canon Inc Financial Reporting solution
Managing user testing (UAT) of the Canon Inc Reporting solution
Participating in training of users in the Canon Inc Reporting solution

About You

As an experienced finance professional, ideally with 5 years CA/CPA post qualified experience, you have knowledge of Financial Budgeting and Reporting concepts and experience managing similar projects.

An Advanced level knowledge of TM1 Perspectives/TM1 Planning Analytics is also important to the role You know your way around VBA and you have proven problem solving ability.

You are highly organised and you know how to add value to complex projects across multi locations.

You possess extensive experience in working with a wide variety of senior stakeholders and you are a confident communicator with well-honed presentation skills.

You're a team player with a passion for TM1 and Project Management who thrives on delivering great project outcomes.
