What You will do:
  • Accountable for active participation and promotion of company SHEQ culture, completing actions as required. Work to gain exposure, practice and leadership on Safety at Customer Sites, including participation in Contractor/Safety Councils
  • Execute sales plans under supervision of line manager, developing further awareness of account profitability and overall health of account. Assist sales management in developing profit improvement projects for client documenting value delivery
  • Development and maintenance of an effective working relationship with Key Customers promoting the desired image of the Company and ensuring Customer satisfaction
  • Proactive identification and resolution of issues reported by field chemists or customer, work to create and present solutions as appropriate, balancing ChampionX needs and managing customer expectations. Prepare and deliver both technical and commercial presentations
  • Leadership in the preparation and delivery of business review meetings for area of responsibility, both internally and externally
  • Participate in trials, audits and field support activities as required, ensuring to adhere to internal and external safe work practices, policies and procedures, actively taking part in safety initiatives
  • Proficient in most types of field work, including sampling and testing knowledge, willing and able to transfer that expertise to more Junior representatives through active training and coaching
  • Work to resolve any conflicts in a productive and collaborative manner

Position Details

  • Route territory will include oil and gas production operators based in Queensland and South Australia and their operating sites
  • Working week is 37.5 hrs based on a normal Mon-Fri 7.5 hr working day. Regular visits to operating sites may include requirements to work on weekends for which time off in lieu of weekend days is provided
  • Compensation Package consists of a competitive base salary, plus sales incentive scheme plus provision of a company vehicle.
  • Training will be provided to new employees on ChampionX Safety on Site; Technical Essentials and PROact account management platforms. Following an initial qualification period employees will be provided with relevant training in specialty disciplines in accordance with their Development Plan

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry or related discipline preferred
years' experience in a similar role in

  • Experience using Microsoft based products
  • Ability to build and maintain successful relationships across multiple levels of an organisation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent work ethic; promoting a positive attitude at all times
