About us
The Surgery Kincumber is a long standing family medical practice in the Central Coast. The surgery is comprised of 3 General Practitioners and one medical registrar with an experienced nursing team. The Surgery Kincumber provides high quality medical services to over 2,000 patients. You will be joining a supportive four team administration team.
The Role
The duties and responsibilities
- In instances where the Practice Manager is absent, the Second In Charge is responsible for ensuring the continued efficient staff management, administration and customer service
- Customer service including welcoming patients into the Centre, collecting and entering patient details, answering telephone calls and enquiries, scheduling appointments when required, and Reception duties
- Opening and closing the Medical Centre
- Fostering professional working relationships with team members, patients and medical staff
- Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures
- Previous team leadership experience within a customer service role
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Pracsoft/MedTech advantageous
- Excellent timemanagement skills and the ability to multitask
- Detail orientated
- Initiative, ambition and ownership
- High standard of presentation
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 27 per week
Salary:
$ $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location:
In person
