This franchise is a Joint Venture between Liverpool City Netball Association and Australia's Largest Registered Club giving you access to the funding and resources required to succeed.

About the Roles


Exciting opportunities have arisen for experienced and passionate coaches and support staff personnel to lead our Netball program and join our amazing team on a
part time basis, in Liverpool.

Head Coaches of each team will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development of the training programs of the South West Mounties Magic, Premier League Netball franchise, to optimise athlete growth and performance.

In addition, the Head Coaches will work alongside the High Performance Manager to develop and implement our Talent Identification Program and participate in a variety of development initiatives at grassroots level for our member Associations.


To be successful, you will have a passion for mentoring, coaching, and contributing to the overall development of the South West Mounties Magic Netball program.

You will collaborate closely with community sporting bodies, parents and all stakeholders to build and maintain effective relationships.

You will showcase your leadership experience on a national/global scale to inspire and drive a culture of athlete talent success.

More specifically, some of the key duties will include:

  • Lead and oversee the development of training programs for players of Opens or the Under 2
  • Recognise and acknowledge the impact that cultural identities, views, and biases can have on personal practice and seek to encourage diversity and inclusion
  • Lead by example and foster a positive and inclusive team culture to drive athlete talent success
  • Collaborate with all key stakeholders to nurture and maintain efficient and effective operations of the Franchise.
  • Demonstrate deep technical understanding of competition rules and regulations

About You

  • Proven extensive experience within Netball at a competitive level
  • Passionate and operates with integrity, striving for excellence to positively impact all key stakeholders and upholding the South West Mounties Magic values and brand
  • Exceptional communication skills and drive to influence Netball players to reach their full potential
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check
  • Current Driver's License

Coaching Qualifications

  • A Head Coach must hold at a minimum a current
    Advanced netball accreditation.
  • An Assistant Coach must hold at a minimum a current
    Intermediate netball accreditation.

Physiotherapist / Strength & Conditioning Coach Qualifications

  • Current Senior First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation Certificate
  • A primary care personnel must hold one of the following qualifications:
  • Level 2 Sports Trainer;
  • Relevant university Degree; or
  • Doctor (Medical Practitioner)
