The role

The ICT Service Delivery Manager will play a critical role in managing the delivery, support, and management of a contemporary online quality management system for Forensic Science Queensland.

This ICT platform plays an important role in the provision of timely, world-class, contemporary forensic services to Queenslanders.

The position will work closely with clinical, technical and vendor teams to ensure that the platform is designed, implemented, and managed in a way that meets business requirements and underpins high-quality service provision.

The position will also support the setup of an effective and sustainable enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for ordering of FSQ clinical and non-clinical supplies following agency transition out of Queensland Health.

You will also:

Coordinate the management of the Azure cloud subscription and other cloudbased and onpremise services, ensuring that they are provisioned and configured correctly and that they meet performance, availability, and security requirements.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure that services provided are in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLAs) and are of high quality.
Collaborate with vendors and external suppliers to identify areas of improvement and ensure that the necessary actions are taken to improve the overall service delivery experience.

The successful person

You will have:

At least 5 years of experience in ICT service delivery in a healthcare or related industry (and ideally a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field)
Strong technical leadership skills including follow skills per Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA)
Service Level Management: Level
IT

Service Management:
Level 5

Solution Architecture: Level 4
Cloud Infrastructure Management: Level 4
Data Management: Level 4
Knowledge of contemporary project management methodologies including PRINCE2, Agile.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated experience leading a project deliver successful outcomes across tight project timeframes
Proven success using excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage successful vendor and external provider partnerships and contracts
ITIL certification and experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services would be well regarded.

About us

Located at Coopers Plains, FSQ operates specialised Forensic Biology, Forensic Chemistry and Forensic Operations functions that provides forensic services and expert advice to the Queensland Police Service (QPS) and the Coroner's Court of Queensland.

Forensic Chemistry provides testing evidence examination and reporting, oil spill comparisons and illicit drug analysis. It also performs commercial testing for hemp growers, councils, commercial cleaning companies, landlords and real estate agents.

Forensic Biology provides analytical and advisory services principally to the Queensland Police Service in the areas of evidence recovery, DNA analysis and result interpretation culminating in expert advice and evidence.

Please note that proposed legislative and structural changes may result in Forensic Science Queensland being moved to another agency within Queensland Public Sector.
