About the Role:


The position of Administration Assistant has a vital role to play in establishing and maintaining a high level of customer focused service to our clients, families, staff, volunteers, and visitors.

The Administration Assistant must demonstrate a positive, efficient, and welcoming approach to customer service which represents the warmth and compassion of Baptcare's Wattle Grove Community.


Ideally you will have experience working within aged care with a proven ability to work co-operatively with a diverse, multicultural workforce and client base.

We are looking for someone who can work 7 6 hours a fortnight, demonstrating a deep empathy for older people and their families.


Key Responsibilities:

Provide high quality customer service to clients, families, staff, volunteers and visitors

Undertake general office administration duties in an accurate and efficient manner

Maintain a safe environment for visitors and staff through the implementation of Work Health and Safety policies and procedures

Roster assistance on daily basis

Maintaining roster

Working to fill vacant shifts and assisting in other roster related issues


Key Selection Criteria:

Proven ability to work co-operatively with a diverse, multicultural workforce and client base

Ability to review own schedule to manage priorities and the changing needs of residents

Ability to manage visitors, phone calls and computer work in a friendly and efficient manner

Commitment to working in accordance with Baptcare's values and Code of Conduct


Essential Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role within aged care

Rostering experience

Certificate II or III in Business Administration (Desirable)
