The opportunity


We currently have a
Permanent Full-time opportunity for a
Project Officer to join our Sydney Project Delivery team based in Paramatta, NSW.

This is a great opportunity to utilise and develop your skills in an active project environment, and work with the capable, motivated & inclusive WSPO Team.


This role will provide high-level administrative and project support to the Program Director and project teams with the use of business management systems, including providing procurement and financial support (ordering of goods and services and payments of invoices).

This role works closely with the wider Business Support Team to coordinate and deliver day-to-day tasks as well as assist with on-boarding, records management, undertake reporting, meeting documentation, arrange meetings, follow up action items and ad-hoc requests that align with business initiatives and project milestones.

This role requires the contribution to ensure a positive work culture for the team.


Key accountabilities

  • Provide project administrative, financial, payment, contract, document and quality system support services across the Branch as required.
  • Liaise with project managers, to control the preparation and coordination of responses to client briefs and stakeholder enquiries to ensure that responses are timely and complete.
  • Provide a range of administrative services, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, meeting documentation and other tasks to support program management delivery.
  • Assist key managers in the monthly reporting and billing process, including purchase order and payment management support at both a unit and project level.
  • Promote and facilitate the implementation of continuous improvement program initiatives and assist with Quality System matters as required.
  • Assist in the administration of the Section Audit schedule and register, the CAR/Improvement register and the Customer Relations register and assist in audit and quality review activities as required.
  • Work flexibly across the Branch to provide support and expertise according to Branch priorities and demand.

  • Demonstrated experience in project administration/coordination.
  • Ability to work flexibly, meet deadlines within short time frames and manage changing priorities
  • Organised, selfdriven, results focused
  • Strong personal work ethic

The salary for this position is a
USS6 ($89, $95, per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
