  • About the role

    The Billing Support Officer is accountable to the Team Leader, Billing and Receipting, SAMI for the effective and efficient delivery of SAMI Billing services using the Enterprise System for Medical Imaging and PBRC and ensuring production of timely, accurate and compliant invoicing and claiming functions. The incumbent predominantly provides billing services for the site at which they are located; this enables them to provide direct billing advice to medical imaging staff. However, to ensure the even distribution of workload across SAMI they may be directed to provide remote billing support to other sites and during times of extended leave, this may require working from other SAMI sites. The incumbent supports the Coordinator, Billing Service, using knowledge and experience of medical imaging billing to contribute to the development of, and support the management of standardised practices for billing services.
