About the Opportunity


We are looking for school leavers or individuals interested in a career change to come and learn how to operate our
Die Cutting machines and produce world class packaging products for our customers.

We can offer a
4 year competency based apprenticeship with on the job and nationally accredited technical training. On completion, you will receive a Trade Certificate in Print, Binding Finishing and Packaging.


Over the duration of the apprenticeship you will work alongside qualified printers, operators and technicians who will support you through your training to become a technically skilled operator.


You will learn about the complexities of our
printing and die cutting processes, how to set up and monitor machinery per the job specifications, elements of continuous improvement, basic machine maintenance, and the importance of quality systems and routine checks.


You will ultimately become a valuable member of our production team who can run our
flat bed die cutting machinery safely and efficiently whilst achieving maximum quality throughout the job process.


About You
This is a hands-on full time opportunity and would suit those who:

  • Have a
    safety first mindset with ability to demonstrate safe behaviours in the workplace.
  • Are willing to learn and participate in all training requirements.
  • Have previous experience in a hands on role (advantageous).
  • Have sound computer skills with ability to record operational data accurately.
  • Have strong
    mechanical aptitude, problemsolving skills, and ability to
    read technical drawings.
  • Can work with integrity, display
    initiative and be a reliable team player.
  • Have a positive attitude with ability to adapt to change.
