We have an exciting opportunity to taken on the newly-created role of Project Claims & Accounts Receivable Officer in our Finance Department, based in the Adelaide CBD - very close to public transport and beautiful cafes.

You will have the opportunity to put your experience to good use and make this role your very own.

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Claims & Accounts Receivable Officer to join our team. Ideally you will have experience preparing and administering monthly project claims as per the contracts and managing accounts receivable. You will have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare and administer monthly claims as per the contracts including contract variations and back charges
  • Participate in project meetings and followup scope changes and associated variations and claims
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and company policies
  • Manage accounts receivable functions
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts
  • Maintain accurate financial records and data
  • Identify and resolve claims and accounts receivable discrepancies
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding claims and accounts receivable matters
  • Continuously improve claims and accounts receivable processes and procedures
  • Upload payment files (EFT) to banking system

Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Project Claims and Accounts Receivable Officer or similar role
  • Experience in preparing and administering monthly claims
  • Experience in managing accounts receivable
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial software
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field or equivalent experience will be highly regarded
