Description
Working within the Communications and Engagement team, you will provide the following:

  • Develop, coordinate and distribute targeted communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of integrated communication strategies to maximise awareness of our services, policies and initiatives among team members and across industry and the community.
  • Contribute to the production of key publications, including annual reports, and help manage our online communications channels.
  • Support the development, implementation and evaluation of communications and engagement strategies and plans to maximise awareness of our services, policies and initiatives.
  • Manage updates to the intranet, including coordinating the annual content review and assist with managing the website, and social media accounts, ensuring content adheres to accessibility standards, web writing style and corporate image.
  • Manage relationships with external suppliers as required for graphic design, photography, videography, printing and production of promotional products, ensuring procurement procedures are followed and budgets are managed.
  • Monitor and distribute daily media mentions and industry news.
  • Prepare reports for senior management to demonstrate the effectiveness of communications activities.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to manage competing work priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Provide communications support to team members across the organisation, as required.
  • Ensure compliance with EWOQ branding guidelines, web writing and style guide.
  • Maintain current knowledge of latest trends, best practice models, and contemporary practices related to communications and engagement.
  • Actively contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes to ensure a high standard of output and service.
  • Contribute to the safety culture of EWOQ by reporting all incidents and hazards and ensuring work is undertaken in the safest way possible, following all EWOQ WHS policies and/or procedures and guidelines relevant to the job.

To be appointed to a position, you must be an Australian citizen, have permanent residency status or a visa permitting you to work in Australia.

You are required to notify EWOQ if your right to work in Australia ceases.

EWOQ has a strong community engagement focus that provides an opportunity for our team members to attend community events within and outside working hours.

Team members are required to hold a current driver's license.
Intrastate and interstate travel may also be required.
