The Coordinator Menu Support role is accountable for leading the systematic input of the menu and costings for Inflight Services into the appropriate systems to ensure accurate inflight spend.

This includes managing the development of meal specifications for Qantas flights in the systems by caterer, class, special meals, system coding and finance mapping.

This role works closely alongside the Manager Systems and Planning and Food and Beverage Team in managing and accurately updating menu specifications in the systems to ensure specifications are aligned to inflight specifications as per menu, including mapping to meet the correct financial spend for inflight food and handling.


This role is also responsible for the systematic development of standard & non-standard special meal (SPML) specifications, reviewing of caterer proposals and ensure appropriate systems and stakeholders are across the correct detail for customer, pricing and spend management.

This role plays a critical part in managing inflight food and handling cost.


You'll have:

  • 35 years of experience in a similar role is preferred Tertiary qualifications in business or finance is preferred Strong analytical thinking skills and problemsolving skill Experience in managing multiple stakeholders High level of attention to detail and ability to develop process documentation IT proficient and able to navigate various complex systems Superior verbal and written communication Advanced excel skills
