About the role:


We have a newly created opportunity for a Payroll / HR reporting professional to join our People, Performance & Culture team.

As part of the Performance & Reward team at Hostplus, you will play a key role in ensuring our payroll process runs like a well-oiled machine, while working with our Payroll Manager to uplift our HR reporting capabilities, through the creation of insightful dashboard reports.

You will bring a strong analytical mindset to the role, with an element of curiosity, as well as a desire to be a part of a team who is passionate about making a real difference.


Some key responsibilities:


  • Administering and coordinating fortnightly payroll for approximately 350 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Processing new starters and leavers including parental leave, termination and redundancy
  • Performing pay and leave entitlement reconciliations
  • Assisting with annual salary increase, end of month and end of financial year activities
  • Fortnightly/Monthly HR reporting and remuneration survey data (HR metrics, Org Chart and reporting using Preceda)
  • HR metric reporting and dashboard update

About you:


  • Minimum of 1 years' previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment
  • HR / HRIS system experience (Preceda experience highly regarded but not essential)
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines, you thrive under pressure and always deliver
  • Tertiary education in accounting or related discipline (desirable but not essential)
  • Completion of payroll related training, such as TAPS will be advantageous.
