About the role
We are currently seeking compliance professionals with the below expertise to join Peerpoint.

If you are highly skilled and self-driven with technical experience in these areas, then we are keen to hear from you.

Lawyers and nonlawyers with corporate governance and compliance experience in a corporate, legal or financial services environment
Sanctions, antimoney laundering and bribery, and corruption matters
Risk management including regulatory, operational, cyber, data and boardroom
Regulatory changes in the financial services sector including investigations, advising on regulatory risk and navigating the regulatory landscape (contentious and noncontentious)

Successful applicants will have:

A right to work and reside in Australia
A minimum of four years' postqualification experience, ideally within a leading financial institution or multinational corporate
Strong technical knowledge and experience in a common law jurisdiction is preferred
Selfstarter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant
Adept at leading or working within complex multifunctional, multinational project environments
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally
Client servicefocused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment
Strong commercial/business acumen
Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible
Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy

As a Peerpoint consultant you can have the opportunity to work:

Inhouse with one of our clients one assignment could be stepping into a team to support a project, while another a senior manager role tackling regulatory change. Assignments can range from two to twelve months in duration and are usually worked four days' per week.
In the Allen & Overy practice on an adhoc basis, supporting teams when needed or joining them for fixed periods to work on a deal.

We only take you on when we see a demand for your particular expertise, making sure there is a good chance we can provide you with work on an on-going basis.
