About the role
We are currently seeking compliance professionals with the below expertise to join Peerpoint.

If you are highly skilled and self-driven with technical experience in these areas, then we are keen to hear from you.


  • Lawyers and nonlawyers with corporate governance and compliance experience in a corporate, legal or financial services environment
  • Sanctions, antimoney laundering and bribery, and corruption matters
  • Risk management including regulatory, operational, cyber, data and boardroom
  • Regulatory changes in the financial services sector including investigations, advising on regulatory risk and navigating the regulatory landscape (contentious and noncontentious)

Successful applicants will have:


  • A right to work and reside in Australia
  • A minimum of four years' postqualification experience, ideally within a leading financial institution or multinational corporate
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in a common law jurisdiction is preferred
  • Selfstarter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level whilst working as a consultant
  • Adept at leading or working within complex multifunctional, multinational project environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Client servicefocused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment
  • Strong commercial/business acumen
  • Resilient, adaptable, autonomous and highly credible
  • Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy

As a Peerpoint consultant you can have the opportunity to work:


  • Inhouse with one of our clients one assignment could be stepping into a team to support a project, while another a senior manager role tackling regulatory change. Assignments can range from two to twelve months in duration and are usually worked four days' per week.
  • In the Allen & Overy practice on an adhoc basis, supporting teams when needed or joining them for fixed periods to work on a deal.


We only take you on when we see a demand for your particular expertise, making sure there is a good chance we can provide you with work on an on-going basis.
