We are looking for a claims professional who is dedicated and self-motivated to be part of a busy and successful team working with high-level clients across various industries.

THE ROLE
An opportunity is available for a Claims Team Manager to join the

  • You will oversee a portfolio of Commercial Claims and collaborate with Insurers and Legal
  • You are career driven, have a strong work ethic, and possess leadership qualities.
  • Portfolio consisting of Commercial Property and/or Commercial Motor or similar Claims
  • To provide professional claims handling services to clients designed to provide solutions, fulfill client's objectives
  • To manage the daytoday handling of claims by attending to incoming insurance claims and managing them internally or lodging them with the Insurer
  • Process, follow up, and negotiate claims to the appropriate level of authority
  • Maintain client claim files and ensure that the required level of service is of the highest standard until deemed closed and finalised
  • Ensure all service falls within internal and external compliance requirements
  • During periods of high risk i.e. hail and flood, ensure that Clients are kept on alert for potential events that may give rise to a major claim
  • Contribute to the success of the Company by enhancing the Broker Client relationships

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE


We are looking for a talented claims individual with a passion for client advocacy - at the company, their clients are at the forefront of everything they do.


  • Ideally, 5+ years experience working within the Insurance industry ideally within a Commercial Claims role
  • Must have strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • A high degree of organisational skills and the ability to multitask, learn quickly and be proactive
  • Collaboration with Key stakeholders within the business to facilitate excellent portfolio management
  • Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Customer Service and Corporate Experience
  • Hold Tier 1 or Diploma of Insurance or ability to work toward Tier 1 Insurance Broking
