About the Role


CEA in Darra is looking for a Service Technician to help service and repair both new and used equipment, in an efficient and timely manner.

This is an exciting, challenging and dynamic role in an ever-changing industry within a rapidly growing company, offering competitive remuneration.


You will have previous experience working as a technician and be able to deliver quality workmanship and enhance the overall customer experience.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Servicing and maintaining machinery under warranty.
  • All online training modules are completed and maintained as needed.
  • Diagnose Hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Ensuring machinery is serviced as per guidelines and carried out in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and customers as well as reporting any safety incidents or concerns to the Service Manager.
  • Build positive and effective relationships with all stakeholders and clients by providing technical expertise.
  • Completion of all paperwork relating to the completion of jobs, including timesheets, service reports and other required information.
  • Provide quality customer service at all times.
  • Physically and mentally fit for the day to day challenges and continual deadlines.
  • You will need to think on your feet and display a high level of integrity, honesty, reliability and confidentiality at all times.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Proven ability to maintain construction equipment and machinery.
  • Excellent customer service focus.
  • Trade qualifications including Mechanical, Diesel Fitting, Auto Electrical or equivalent
  • Must have ability to troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend solutions.
  • Must have Industry experience in Heavy Plant Equipment
