About the role:


As the HR Advisor you will be responsible for partnering closely with the business to provide effective and timely human resources support.


This role requires a strong team player who can work with all levels of the business to provide an exceptional HR experience to our business.

You'll answer queries from employees and leaders and work on projects and other work directly with the Business Partners.


The HR Advisor will be a key part of the People Partnering team and is responsible for delivering a full range of HR Services across Australia.


These include but not limited to:

onboarding and leaver processes, performance management, Employee Relations, managing exit interviews, managing and marketing local benefits and ensuring all processes run from the shared service team and are managed correctly (pre boarding, administration etc).


What you will do:

  • Delivering a great employee experience for our employees.
  • You will be championing engagement and culture for the Australian team, leading the engagement team, and implementing our People and Culture plan.
  • You will be the HR generalist for the locations you are looking after and be advising managers and other key stakeholders on location specific policies and procedures, such as parental leave matters, work environment, employment law guidance.
  • You will be responsible for any face to face / virtual elements of onboarding of our new starters as well as working closely with our Talent Acquisition Partner in ensuring that new starters onboarding is a positive experience.
  • You will be a HRIS (Workday) Super User with responsibility in providing training to employees and managers in how to use the HRIS; participating in project work such as design, testing, training, rollout and support.
  • You work closely with the shared service team to continuously improve the employee experience and our HR processes and procedures and to ensure all employee changes are done correctly and the data in our HR system is accurate and kept up to date.
  • You provide adhoc support to the HR Team and the wider business as and when needed and will support the HR Business Partners and the wider HR function in delivering the HR roadmap.
  • You will be responsible in the upkeep of the office and facilities ensuring that stationary is stocked, organize necessary maintenance, liaising with building management and completing company audits.
  • Implement and maintain WHS procedures in the Australian offices.
  • Proactively keep up to date with changes in local employment law and trends within HR.

Your experience:

  • Minimum 3 years HR experience with a generalist focus.
  • Qualifications in Human Resources or a Related Business degree preferred.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in a broad range of contemporary people, culture, and safety issues.
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and influencing skills, as well as attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Experience and competence in using and supporting a HRIS.
