STRIDE EDUCATION is passionate about making change in a changing world. For over 35 years, we have been delivering social and emotional wellbeing programs to students, teachers and parents. Our programs offer key tools, that offer practical and easy to implement skills that help our students take life in their stride.

Our signature programs are delivered in primary and secondary schools across Australia.

Programs include Peer Support, Peer Mediation, MPower friendship program, Revved Up emotional management program, Leadership, Supportive Friends, The Resilience Toolbox, iPrep and more.

These are facilitated over a full day, half-day, or 2-hour period.


In addition, we work closely with schools and educational organisations to tailor-build programs to suit specific student needs and budget requirements.


THE ROLE
We're looking for a hyper-organised, dynamic and enthusiastic administrator to join Stride Education as our go-to support person.

In this role, you'll be responsible for everything from volunteer coordination, reporting on outcomes and budget, logístical support, and improving and streamlining processes and systems.

Reporting to the Program Manager, this role gives you the opportunity to learn a suite of new skills whilst providing autonomy for you to own the role, perfect for someone who wants to be part of a tight-knit and passionate team


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE


We're looking for someone who's extremely organised, and loves working in a fast paced environment where no two days are the same.

You'll be comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team, and be able to work across multiple projects at the same time.

  • High level administration and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding and desire to support young people through Stride workshops in resilience, confidence, wellbeing and career pathways
  • Excellent capabilities in using systems to assist in improving the team's efficiency are a huge plus

ROLE PURPOSE
Working in Stride Education Program, the Administration Coordinator's purpose is to support the Program Manager with the delivery of quality programs and services by:

  • Administration Support
  • Reporting Coordination
  • Volunteer Coordination
  • Communication
  • Compliance

THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Support Stride Education to deliver programs efficiently and effectively, be a main contact for the organisation
  • Assist the Program Manager with tracking projects and reporting
  • Coordinate and build relationships with Volunteers
  • Manage enquiries, waitlists, leads and admin functions.

KEY TASKS

  • Support Program Manager with tracking projects/workshops
  • Assist with monitoring budgets and monthly reporting
  • Maintaining database & CRM
  • Input program evaluations and manage data
  • Processing orders
  • Manage stock of manuals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers through regular communication
  • Support coordination of monthly newsletter
  • Support coordination of social media
  • Meet weekly with Program Manager and assist in the running of meetings, including collation of agenda items, catering, documentation of minutes
  • Support with Event coordination and support
  • Support Careers Programs coordination
  • Support coordinate of facilitators and volunteers

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:


  • At least 1 year's experience in an administration position
  • At least 1 year's experience in managing a budget in a professional setting
  • Business Administration or similar Qualifications
  • Working within a school setting desirable
  • A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • Demonstrated experience in working in a team
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships both internal and external, from government bodies, schools, business networks, community groups and internal business units
  • Demonstrated written skills, including resource manuals, direct mail, reports and submission writing
