We are currently seeking a skilled Treasury Trader to assist with the management of FX and Cryptocurrency positions arising from business payments and hedging activities in the APAC region.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all market risks by hedging client trade activity within our network of foreign exchange bank counterparties in accordance with our prescribed interest rate and currency risk limits.

You will also be responsible for quoting FX and Cryptocurrency prices across multiple products and structuring complex option contracts.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Accurately quoting Spot, Forward, Swap, and Option prices to make markets for the sales field.
  • Cash management duties including cash forecasting and booking of funding swaps.
  • Assisting with the management of the currency options book with a focus on eliminating undue or excessive risk arising from hedging activity in the options market.
  • Executing Spot, Forward, Swap, and Option structures with our counterparties to mitigate market risk.
  • Monitoring and mitigating forward tenor risk.
  • Reporting daily risk positions and ensuring compliance with the Treasury Risk Policy.
  • Demonstrating an understanding of economic events and evaluating their impact on currencies relevant to company interests.
  • Assisting with the design and implementation of system enhancements aimed at supporting key business initiatives, automating processes, achieving cost savings, and enhancing controls across the organization.
  • Supporting adhoc reporting as well as routine reporting and analyses.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in finance and banking or related experience.
  • To be wellorganized, careful, and patient with a strong attention to detail.
  • To be a team player with integrity, a positive attitude, and a hardworking, diligent mindset.
  • A degree in finance or business administration.
