About the Role
Service Stream's Telecommunications division are currently seeking a HSEQ Business partner to join our Group Safety team. Reporting directly to the National HSE Manager, you will be responsible for assisting in providing specialist HSEQ advice and assistance to Project personal to assist in creating a safety culture that aligns to ServiceStream's safety vision of providing a safe and healthy workplace where we care about the safety of our people, our customers, and the community

National HSE Manager
Responsibilities:
- Coaching and advising management and workers on meeting their work health and safety duties.
- Supporting management and workers in the implementation of policies, systems, programs and initiatives and meeting local legislative requirements.
- Providing support for the company's risk management and consultative processes.
- Providing local support for the company's assurance processes including audits, inspections and investigations and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Coaching and advising management and workers on all work health and safety matters relevant to the work activities undertaken.
- Coordinate provision of HSE services to Service Stream operations in the region
This opportunity will suit a highly motivated and outcome driven individual who has a passion for delivering positive client outcomes, and a knack for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in Health and Safety (2+ years), preferably within the infrastructure, construction or mining industries.
- Knowledge and understanding of current WHS legislation.
- Demonstrated experience in subcontractor management
- Experience in producing incident investigation reports.
- Proven ability to lead and engage a diverse range of people.
- Proven ability to provide practical solutions.
- Knowledge of current rehabilitation and injury management approaches.
- Experience in developing/reviewing SWMS.
- Certificate IV in WHS or equivalent
- Incident Investigation Qualified preferably ICAM Lead Investigator
