Your role:


The Cost Controller is responsible for the administrative and data analysis function within this 1st tier Iron Ore Mining Company.

Specifically, the role tasks include Cost analysis to ensure periodic reports are produced, set up of projects and ensuring the system is mapped and used correctly as well as raising purchase orders and managing through to delivery on key projects.


This role would suit a job seeker that is looking to progress their career and take a big step forward with a leading business.


To be successful in this role:

  • 4 years experience in Cost Control within the mining sector
  • Cert IV or other formal accounting qualification
  • Experience in accounts payable and P/O execution
  • Experience in accounting practices and data analysis
  • Solid excel and other database skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise multiple tasks
