About the Opportunity
Fairfield Hospital is actively seeking a dynamic and experienced Administration Supervisor to join our team.

  • Proficiency in making informed decisions pertaining to daily operational workforce planning requirements is essential.
  • The role requires the ability to swiftly resolve issues and make appropriate decisions while operating autonomously with conflicting priorities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must, coupled with an aptitude for interpersonal interactions and demonstrated problemsolving capabilities.
  • This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the efficient functioning of our hospital's administration while utilising your unique skill set.

What You'll be Doing

The Administration Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and management of a team of Administrative staff to deliver efficient and effective service delivery throughout Fairfield Hospital.


The Administration Supervisor will provide effective administrative support and ensure that there is adequate Administrative staffing levels throughout the facility and escalate any issues to the Administration Manager.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  • Relevant qualifications in business administration, management, or administration and / or senior administrative experience in managing a large team in a complex organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively managing staff induction and competency training of new employees with a large team.
  • Demonstrated experience in decision making that relates to the daily operational workforce planning needs, with the ability to prioritise resource allocation.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and make relevant decisions (within scope of the role) whilst working with a high degree of autonomy with competing demands and the capacity to work with mínimal direction.
  • Demonstrated high quality written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal and proven problem solving abilities, including the ability to handle controversial and emotive issues/information while maintaining strict confidentiality.
