Description

In this role you will perform Emergency and Incident Response, Freeway Inspections, Traffic Control, and ensure the integrity and performance of project equipment.

Duties:

Attend to reported incidents as directed for the motorway, tunnels, and shared use paths
Assist and liaise with Emergency Services requirements during major incidents.
Attend to breakdowns and liaise with the owner for removal or repair
Provide traffic management services after incidents
Proactively patrol the Eastlink freeway, tunnels and interchanges and report issues.
Document and maintain activities via the Computerised Maintenance Management System

About you:

Experience/qualifications in Civil, Road, Vehicle Maintenance, Traffic Operations and/or Incident Response
Demonstrated capability to work on freeways and road systems, a mechanical aptitude for road machinery and equipment
First Aid certificate
Working at Heights
MR licence required (HR desirable)
A high regard for safe working practices
