About the role


Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is responsible for leading a team, business partnering, delivering timely & insightful analysis on performance, ensuring a thorough understanding of business financial results, key drivers, risks and opportunities, productivity initiatives and business action plans.


Duties

  • Effectively lead and manage a team of 10 FTE
  • Partnering with the Operations management team and leading business performance analysis, ensuring effective support is provided
  • Lead and drive the completion of the monthly reporting and provide robust variance analysis to the Budget and rolling forecast
  • Ensuring effective communication of performance results and risks and opportunities are provided to the business teams
  • Owner of the annual and monthly planning cycle for the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement functions as well as the CAPEX program with the support of your team and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective evaluation and management of CAPEX programs and initiatives
  • Lead the Longterm strategic planning process for your businesscritical division

Skills and Experience

  • Exceptional business partnering, relationship building and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Manufacturing accounting experience is a prerequisite
  • Proven effectiveness in managing large projects involving change management and process improvement
  • Desire and ability to be a true leader in the organisation
  • Strong planning, organisational, analytical and decisionmaking skills
  • Minimum 510 years in a Senior Finance position in a highly complex organisation with a manufacturing industry background (FMCG highly regarded)
  • CA / CPA Qualified
