Are you passionate about optimising operations, enhancing efficiency, and driving strategic decision-making? We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Supply Chain Analyst to work with our client in an exciting role based in West Perth.


The Opportunity:

marketplace Strategic Sourcing Lead, you will help improve the Supply Chain and Procurement operations by undertaking the following responsibilities:

  • Analyse supplier proposals to identify opportunities for cost savings while still meeting specifications. Identify opportunities to maximise savings, consolidate spend and reduce deliveries and invoices.
  • Provide operational information to Supply Management in relation to supplier performance, quality, compliance to specifications and pricing. Report to the Manager Procurement and Supply Chain any supply chain or related issues that may compromise the supply of goods or services.
  • Design, develop, implement, and manage spend management reports including supplier assessments for best total cost of ownership, vendor managed inventories, inventory reduction programs, cycle time improvements, security of supply and supplier diversity.
  • Master Data Management define and manage Supply Chain critical data to ensure it is used to manage, organise, and categorise according to the business rules and operational strategies of the company.
  • Perform analysis of supply chain transactions and prepare reports to identify process, system and training deficiencies and recommend revisions to procedures, workflows, and supply chain practices.
  • Measure the overall performance of the supplier network and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist with implementation of new supply chain systems and with upgrades of existing systems.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement across all supply related areas.

About you:

As the successful applicant, you will have:

  • At least 5 years' experience with ERP and business systems use and reporting functionality and data management experience.
  • Appropriate experience or qualifications in data analysis, statistics, inventory management, procurement, purchasing or similar supply chain functions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong skills using Microsoft Excel
  • Strong with Power BI software and ideally knowledge of Phoenix Software
