Job's On is a specialist labour hire and recruitment services agency, offering short to long term and permanent blue-collar positions across the mining and resources industry in Western Australia.

About the Role(s):

We are currently seeking suitably skilled and qualified Boilermakers to work for our client, a high performing heavy plant maintenance contractor based in Perth (SOR).

This role is workshop based, but will include FIFO site-based work.


Requirements for the Role(s):


Skills & Experience:

• Commitment to safe work practices as a numberone priority.
• Demonstrated boilermaking experience working with heavy plant machinery.
• Knowledge of standards and regulations associated with plant and equipment.
• Knowledge in the latest technology relating to plant and fleet.
• Ability to recognise problems/issues, analyse, and formulate and implement appropriate solutions.
• A methodical approach to work in a workshop/site/fieldbased setting
• Ability to operate effectively in a team, contributing positively to team operations and working relationships in a friendly and flexible manner.
• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and unsupervised when required, whilst exercising initiative, judgement and accountability.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
• Comfortable to FIFO to remote areas & stay at site camps.
• Able to undergo a preemployment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

Licences/Qualifications:

• Current and valid manual Driver's Licence and HR Driver's Licence '
• Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
• Work Safely in the Construction Industry
• White Card

Possession of the following tickets will also be highly regarded:

• High Risk Work Licence
• Work Safely at Heights / Elevated Work Platform
