About the role


On behalf of Unigrain, a leading producer of plant-based food and beverage ingredients, gforce is seeking a fulltime Yard Hand/Grain Handler at their Smeaton Mill.

About the organisation


Unigrain is a leading privately owned food and agribusiness specialising in the manufacture and export of plant-based food and beverage ingredients, specialising in oat cereal, pulse based and animal nutrition products.

More recently the development of their pulse protein and oat milk facilities highlights Unigrain's continuing drive to innovate and strong focus on the production of high quality and sustainable Australian grown ingredients.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
General yard hand duties

Loading & unloading grain

Forklift and auger operation

Grain testing (training provided)

Completing paperwork

Cleaning and maintaining the yard

Other ad hoc labouring duties as required


To be successful in this role, you will have:
Grain handling experience preferred

A current forklift licence and driver's licence preferred

Excellent work ethic and reliability

Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions

Be physically fit for manual handling

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen


The position is Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm, at a casual rate of $28.26ph plus superannuation, with a six-month probation period.
