About the role
We have a permanent opportunity within out IT Project Management team for a
Project Leader. Project manage and coordinate the execution of allocated tasks within large and complex projects & portfolios. You'll undertake analysis, reporting and liaison services to ensure the delivery of business capabilities. Based in our Leederville office, this role will report to the Manager, IT Project Management.


What the role will involve

  • Manage resources in the preparation of the Approval to Deliver Business Case and Financial Impact Statement for all allocated projects
  • Responsible for financial and business performance of allocated projects including costs, efficient use of resources and meeting performance targets and objectives
  • Coordinate and assist in performing analysis of schedules, dependencies, resource, costs, risks, and issues to ensure accurate health reporting of projects
  • In collaboration with the Commercial Team, coordinate the necessary procurement activities and contractual documents.
  • Support the Portfolio Directors and (Senior) Project Managers to manage portfolio level risks and eliminate blockers
  • Monitor and maintain relevant controls, identify risks and work with the Manager of Project Management to mitigate risks and maintain operational delivery

Key skills and experience


You'll have a degree in IT, Project Management, or equivalent, or considerable experience managing small to medium projects in a similar role.

Knowledge of project management (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) along with experience in tendering, commercial review, contract award and management, and demonstrated ability to collaborate with key external and internal stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
